Studio Practice 01

Identify and Explain 5 things that inspire you.

1. Music, particularly the lyrics and acoustic versions of songs. Listening to the lyrics of an acoustic version of a song makes you realise the true meaning of the song. Also, playing guitar is a way for me to relax and clear my head.

2. Travel, experiencing different places and people. I believe it is important to get away from where you've grown up at some point in your life.

1. Producing work that is colourful, structured and eye-catching.

3. Everyone around me inspires me in some sort of way. The values an opinions of other people influence me in a way in which it encourages me to make certain decisions.

4. More specifically, influential voices who have become successful. People with ambition and a thrive to do well inspire me in a great deal.

5. Branding and Identity, instantly knowing what something is inspires me  as well as encouraging me to do this with my design practices.

Identify and Explain 5 reasons why you chose to study on this course;

1. I wanted to be in the city of Leeds due to various reasons including;

- It is familiar to where I come from

- I know lots of people here

- The nightlife is amazing.

2. The course involves creativity, something in which I believe I have.

3. It is easy for me to commute back to my hometown as it is only a short distance away.

4. Graphic Design is the career path I want to fulfil as well as it being different and slightly less popular than other career choices hopefully meaning it will be easier to be employed afterwards.

5. The course is industry related and specialist.

1. To create my own unique style of working.

2. Become more familiar with adobe interfaces which help produce better quality work.

3. To become less shy when meeting new people.

4. Become more independent.

5. How to manage money effectively.

1. Producing work the visually communicates a message instantly along with being vibrant, structured and eye-catching

2. The adobe photoshop interface.

3. I am good at relaxing.

4. Managing my social life and work effectively.

5. I work well in groups.
